Losing My Perspicacity November 1, 2024
Women’s pro baseball is on the way; Gerrit Cole’s gaff is going to haunt me into my golden years; The Onion scores a direct hit on Brett Favre; JD Vance sucks a little more every day; I’m starting to love TNF Al Michaels; and proof the United States government is working for you.
Good Morning and Happy Friday! Welcome to another Free Friday edition of Losing My Perspicacity. I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m writing Losing My Perspicacity while still in my Halloween costume, in front of a roaring fire, watching Aaron Rodgers (so far he’s going 7/14 for 32 yards - we’re in the 3Q), and feeling like life isn’t too shabby — as long as I stay away from the news. It feels like everything is getting more intense as we get closer to November 5. I hope you’re all practicing whatever self-care you can. Personally, I recommend chocolate and bingeing true crime docs on Netflix. The Keepers is a must-see.
