Chuck Schumer and the cowardice of Congress

In partnership with

Good morning and Happy Free Friday! Thanks for starting your day with me.

Well, the stock market is tanking, egg prices are through the roof, our President is imposing tariffs willy-nilly based on vibes (or the lack thereof), Donald Trump has deported a 10-year-old American citizen with brain cancer, and we’re on the brink of war with Canada. Or Greenland. Maybe both.

Gosh, America sure is feeling great again, as evidenced by this clip of Donald Trump saying extremely normal things about Canada yesterday.

(Pssst, Donald. All borders are artificial lines. John Lennon wrote a song about it. )

While it’s been pretty funny to see all the ways Canada is sticking it to Trump, I’m starting to think he’s deadly serious about annexing Canada. Wait until he finds out they’ll all expect universal healthcare. That oughta end this delulu fantasy real fast.
